KADINSKY CIRCLES
This week me and Princess Z chose an activity that’s all about colors and different big and small circles.
Before I go on,let me go a bit into the history and introduce you to the artist who was behind it all.
Wassily Kadinsky, was a Russian born French Expressionist. His worked looked more like the images below but one of his most recognizable pieces of artwork is his color study known as Squares with Concentric Circles/Rings (Farbstudie Quadrate) (Below Last). This is where the activity is differed from.

For this activity you will need:
Colored Paper
A Pair of Scissors
Glue
Instructions:
This activity can be done by either painting, sticking, drawing ,stamping different sizes of circles or any other medium your kids have interest in.Once decided then is all about having fun and playing around with big and small colored circles and layering them one on the other and creating your Kadinsky masterpiece.

Princess Z chose to draw, cut and stick circles from different colored paper on to another colored square.Making a colored masterpiece of her own.

This activity helps increase physical-development from gross and motor skills to free-writing skills.as well as encourages kids to do large pieces of work with large movements without making a mess around.
The best thing about this activity is that it’s not at all messy and can be done anywhere either at school/home.In the end its all about having fun and spending time together.
P.S-This is one of Princess Z’s favourite activity.
