FLU FIGHTING SMOOTHIE RECIPES

As temperatures are soaring in Dubai.We are more likely to get sick due to the change in the environment .Stepping outside from the air-conditioner can put a lot of pressure on our bodies and that’s the reason for the increase in illness because our bodies cannot cope with a sudden heatwave.

Complaints typically include viral infections, influenza, upper respiratory infections, diarrhea and stomach flu.

Below are some healthy and flu ๐Ÿ˜ท fighting smoothie recipes that are some of my favorite too (found out about them and tried them out) that are not only healthy but also will help you fight your sickness and make you stay away from it at the same time

ANTI-SICKNESS SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

2 mandarin oranges
1 banana
Half cup frozen mango
1 tsp ginger
Coconut Water

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together and drink.

*fights off sickness all season long!.

 

GREEN FLU FIGHTER SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

2 peeled oranges
1/2 peeled lime
1 ripe banana
1 inch of peeled ginger root
1/2 cup parsley
1 cup of your favorite leafy green
1/2 cup ripped bell pepper
Water for blending

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together, adding water as desired and getting the right consistency to enjoy.

 

GREEN SMOOTHIE IMMUNE BOOSTING COLD- KICKER SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

2 ripped bananas
1 cup strawberries or blueberries (fresh or frozen)
2-3 kale leaves with stalk
1 tablespoon flax seeds
Water as needed to blend and get the right consistency

Instructions:

Blend all the ingredients together, adding water as desired and getting the right consistency to enjoy.

 

NATURAL COUGH SYRUP SMOOTHIE

Ingredients:

1 cup fresh pineapple
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1 inch peeled piece of ginger
1 Tbsp raw honey
Dash of cayenne pepper

Instructions:

Place all the ingredients in a blender.Blend on high speed until everything is processed.Pour into glass and drink.

*Can be kept in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.

*****It’s important to keep oneself hydrated and make sure to consumeย the right nutrients needed.Its really important to get plenty of fluids to combat dehydration.

HOW TO MAKE A NURSE CAP

As Princess Z will be celebrating The International Nurse day at her school on Thursday.I didn’t wanted to buy her the full suit available in the market.Firstly they are quite pricey and secondly, they are of one time use only so instead i decided to dress her up in full white clothes with a Nurse Cap made at home.I wasn’t very sure about it at first but then was happy with the result๐Ÿ™‚.Below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿปare the step by step instructions on how to make a Nurse Cap:

All you will need is :

-A4 size Chart Paper (I used chart paper to make it a bit stiff,any other kind of paper can be used).

-A Red/Pink Cross (Cut out from colored paper or either painted) (I got my done on the chart paper and painted it pink).

-Scotch Tape/Glue/Stapler

-Scissors

Here are the Step by Step Instructions-

Step 1: I know how we usually get an A1 size chart paper in the market.So to begin with place I placed a regular A4 printer paper on the chart paper and cut it out to get the exact size.

Step 2 :ย Once you have your A4 size chart paper, fold it less than half way through. (From up to downwards).

Note: The fold should be on top (like shown in the picture)๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

Step 3 : Place and glue the cross in the middle of the folded line.(should be more towards the line fold)๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

Step 4 : Turn the paper over

Note: The line fold should come below

Step 4: Turn the Paper over as guided

Step 5 : Fold the corners and tape/staple them as shown ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿป

Step 5 : This is how it should look after the fold

Step 6 : Fold the instructed lines in the picture below ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿปand tape/staple it

Step 6: Fold the point โ˜๐Ÿป

Step 7 : Turn over and Voila it’s ready! ๐Ÿ˜Š

TIP: To keep it steady on the head..tie a bun and pin it in.
